There is no dance to record and no editing application to install. The reference supplies the performance. Generation usually takes several minutes; keep the existing job in My videos instead of submitting repeatedly while it is processing.
Choose photos for the role
Human and Angry Dance
Start with one upright adult, facing the camera. Include at least the head-to-knee area and keep the arms distinct from the body. A portrait-oriented photo with enough room around the subject works well for this performance. Show the outfit you want the model to use, and avoid heavy filters, face-covering hats or sunglasses.
Couple
The first role is the front performer who addresses the camera. The second is the partner just behind, who reacts and joins the embrace. Use a clear photo for each selected role, or a shared photo with both people visible. Waist-up photographs can work because much of this reference is close framing. In the studio, you can replace one role and retain the other source performer, or personalize both.
Pet
Use one animal with the ears, face, body and paws visible. Fur colors and distinctive markings provide identity information. A dog is the nearest anatomical match to the upright reference; a cat can take the part, but paws and proportions may transfer differently.
Upload JPG or PNG files up to 10 MB. Use yourself, consenting adults or pets you own or have permission to use. Avoid celebrity and stranger photos. Photo quality improves the input information, but does not guarantee exact likeness or clothing.

The gestures that make the routine recognizable
The broader routine builds from surprise to impatience, then a held reaction or a close-up. The human Angry Dance highlight emphasizes the later, forceful acting rather than the opening of the full kitchen recording.
| Moment | Human performance | Pet performance |
|---|---|---|
| The opening reaction | The routine’s head-framing and exaggerated expression establish the disagreement. | The pet rises from its head-in-paws pose and brings both paws beside its face. |
| A sideways reply | A side turn and one raised hand address the person behind the camera. | One paw lifts as the animal turns to the side. |
| The impatient pose | A hand on the hip, a hand near the forehead and small head shakes carry the attitude. | The upright pet combines a hip sway with a paw near its temple. |
| Enough already | Open palms face the lens, followed by a dismissive wave. | Both paw pads face the camera before smaller waving gestures. |
| The ending | A short held look punctuates the reaction; the Angry Dance highlight adds closer, more forceful acting. | The animal approaches the lens, tilts its head and pushes a paw toward the camera. |
What happens in the couple version?
The foreground role gestures and pulls faces while the partner watches from behind. A turn toward the partner and a side close-up change the pace; the pair then lean toward each other, the partner wraps their arms around the front performer, and both laugh. Adult friends, flatmates or siblings can play the same two parts.
Choose Dance video background for the original kitchen or room, or My photo background to request your own setting. Both follow the selected performance. Expressions, body proportions, outfits and backgrounds can vary between runs.
Who should take the part?
A calm character delivering an over-the-top complaint makes the contrast easy to read. Try yourself, your partner, a normally dignified dog or a cat with a serious expression. Match the joke to someone who agreed to take part.
- For yourself: “My very reasonable response to one more meeting.”
- For a dog: “The customer has concerns about today’s walk.”
- For a cat: “A strongly worded review of the empty bowl.”
- For a couple: “Two very different accounts of what happened.”

The music, hashtags and AI-song question
The soundtrack is Bad Times by Imael Angel, a deep-house single released March 30, 2026. The official artist audio carries that release credit. Ismael, Omael and Email Angel are alternate search spellings people use for the artist.
Songfacts describes human-written lyrics developed into finished recordings with AI tools. The reference report links that discussion to the October 2026 meme about older listeners enjoying AI music; it cites an October 13 post by @snarkymarky with 2.8 million views. These are reports about the music’s production and circulation, separate from making an AI dance video.
The selected clip’s original audio is prepared for your finished preview and download. Listen before posting. You can mute playback and choose a platform-library sound when publishing instead. Generation does not transfer ownership of the footage or music; check the platform’s available rights for ads and paid posts.
Relevant tags include #badtimes and #badtimesimaelangel, alongside a tag for the character or format. The dated timeline gives their reported October 14 counts. Use the platform’s AI-content disclosure when appropriate. We are independent of the artist and the reference provider.

If the result needs another look
| Issue | What to try |
|---|---|
| The human face loses its likeness | Use a bright, sharp, front-facing photo. Check turns and close-ups as well as the first frame; a different image can give the model a clearer identity reference. |
| The original outfit or accessories carry over | The human source has a gray top, dark leggings and wrist jewelry. Include your own outfit in a wider input photo. Clothing preservation is an instruction to the model, not an exact-match guarantee. |
| Hands blur or fingers look wrong | Fast gestures and hands close to the lens can distort. Use a photo with unobstructed arms and hands. A new attempt can differ, but each generation uses a credit. |
| The legs appear stiff | Use an upright photo with at least the head-to-knee area visible. Seated or tightly cropped inputs offer less information about posture. |
| The pet inherits the source dog’s appearance | Keep the ears, muzzle and distinctive fur markings clear in your photo. The reference dog has dark fur and pointed ears; examine whether your pet’s own features survive the movement. |
| A paw resembles a human hand | Choose an image with visible furry paws and a clear body outline. Inspect the final close-up, where anatomy is particularly prominent. Cross-species replacements can be less consistent. |
| The mouth misses the lyrics | The effect follows performance and expression. It is not an exact lyric lip-sync service, so judge the facial acting and musical timing separately. |
| The photo is refused or the job fails | Check that the file is a JPG or PNG under 10 MB and that you have permission to use it. A confirmed failed job releases its video credit; check My videos before submitting another request. |
For the couple, also check the front and back identities after the side close-up and during the embrace. If sound is missing, unmute the player first; if audio preparation reports an error, retry that step for the existing result before generating again.
Bad Times AI trend FAQ
What is the Bad Times AI trend?
It is a photo-to-video take on the expressive routine performed to Bad Times by Imael Angel. Raised hands, a hand on the hip, stop gestures and an exaggerated disagreement with the camera are its recognizable features. Human, couple and AI pet performances are part of the trend.
Who started the Bad Times dance trend?
The reference history traces the routine to @bouuhyachaka’s August 20, 2026 performance and her September 9 kitchen take. @benandzara helped spread the reaction format, and AI animal versions followed. The timeline on this page links the credited source posts.
Which song does the Bad Times trend use?
The track is Bad Times by Imael Angel, released March 30, 2026. Searches sometimes spell the artist Ismael, Omael or Email Angel. Each template here retains the audio from its selected edited reference. Music ownership remains with the rights holders.
How can I create my own Bad Times AI video?
Select a version, open it in the studio and add the photos for your selected roles. Review the background and credit cost, sign in, and generate. The result is available in My videos, where you can preview it with sound and download the MP4.
Can my dog or cat perform the routine?
Choose Pet and add one clear full-body animal photo. The reference is the AI dog credited to @tillandsialover. Your pet follows the upright paw gestures and approach to the camera. A dog is closest to the source anatomy; a cat or another species may transfer less consistently.
Can I make the Bad Times couple trend?
Yes. The Couple version uses the edited @miledandmelissa reference. Assign the front performer and back partner using separate photos, or use a shared couple photo. The front character performs, the second reacts, and the pair finish in a laughing embrace. Consenting adult friends or siblings can take the roles too.
What is the Angry Dance version?
Angry Dance is the expressive kitchen highlight from @bouuhyachaka. The reference page dates the AI filter’s appearance to October 22, 2026. Our Human selector uses that same edited 15-second preview, keeping the palm-tapping, close gestures and emphatic finish.
Which background will my result use?
Choose Dance video background to retain the reference setting, or My photo background to request the setting from your uploaded image. The source supplies the performance and camera timing. AI can still alter background, clothing and small details.
Does the original performer remain in my video?
Only selected positions are requested for replacement. A solo has one position. In the couple, choosing one position leaves the other original performer in place; select both to personalize the pair. AI may still carry over appearance details, so review the result.
Do I need to learn or record the dance?
No dance recording is required from you. The edited reference supplies the timing, poses and facial performance, and your photo provides the selected character’s appearance.
Will the mouth follow every word?
Exact lip sync is not promised. Motion transfer can follow expressions, frowns, mouth openings and gestures without matching every sung word. Preview the completed clip with its audio before sharing.
Which AI model and video quality does this site use?
Babydoll Dance AI currently requests motion transfer with Higgsfield Genjutsu Light at 720p. All three edited references run for 15 seconds and use the same generation service here.
Was the Bad Times song made with AI?
The song has been reported as AI-assisted. Songfacts describes human-written lyrics developed into finished songs with AI tools. That distinction matters: human authorship and AI-assisted production can coexist. The October 2026 old-people-with-AI-music meme also used the song. We did not make the music and are not affiliated with the artist.
What are the duration, framing and download format?
Each reference lasts 15 seconds and plays with its original audio and full picture. Pet is 540 × 960, Human is 540 × 774, and Couple is 540 × 780. Generation is requested at 720p, and the final download is an MP4 with reference audio. Export adds no site watermark; marks already present in a source can remain.
Is making a Bad Times video free?
You can watch the references without paying. A personalized video uses one video credit from a one-time pack. Pricing is shown on our Pricing page. Confirmed failed jobs release their reserved credit; an unresolved job should be checked in My videos before trying again.
